What will be the role of artificial intelligence in the industry in 10, 20 or 30 years? In what direction do you think the yachting management will evolve?
Nowadays, artificial intelligence is considered a controversial topic that raises debate about ethics, human-computer cooperation and more. As time passes, artificial intelligence keeps developing rapidly and is becoming more and more predominant in most industries, challenging the humans role – and this also the case in the yachting industry.
In the 21st century, technology is without a doubt a relevant pillar for the overall performance of any vessel, no matter its size. For instance, the internal communication onboard could be managed with a software that helps captains and crew members to have a real time overview of all the aspects of the operations.
Equally, the guests’ experiences are tightly linked to the latest trends of technology, whether we are talking about their water toys, or a stable high-speed internet connection on board.
Considering these increasing changes, the DEEP Blue Team, as a player of the yachting industry, is thrilled to officially announce its partnership with the Superyacht Technology Conference (SYTC 2020) that will be held the 1st & 2nd April 2020. Barcelona is the ideal location for this amazing event, as it is considered a dynamic tech hub that perfectly reflects the culture that is aimed to be transmitted.
What will be the role of artificial intelligence in the industry in 10, 20 or 30 years? Could you imagine robots inside the yachts, or an entire vessel being printed with 3D technology? In what direction do you think the yachting management will evolve?
The SYTC 2020 will be the first conference to be dedicated entirely to superyacht technology, bringing together inspiring global speakers and technology thinking leaders. The main goal of this innovative event is to create a knowledge sharing space, through exciting “Tech Talks” and immersive hands-on demos and workshops.
Among the attendants, the SYTC 2020 will see the presence of a wide range of professionals, including but not limited to tech buyers such as the ETO’s/AVIT/ITO officers, Captains, Engineers, Owner’s reps, shipyards purchasing managers, buyers and project managers.
DEEP Blue Soft, as a revolutionary yacht management software, is aiming to provide a robust solution that continuously meets the requirements of the evolving industry.
As speakers of the “Tech Talks” panels, we are excited to brain storm with the participants of the conference, and to share our thoughts on the future of the Yachting Industry. The best way to anticipate future trends is by being creative, and by challenging ideas and expanding our minds.
